Click on: https://is.stuba.sk/, and then on Electronic application for studying at STU.
Login to the system
- If you are not a student of STU, enter the system via the 1st option, i.e.
Enter the e-application system as a new user and the system will assign you a login name and password.
Don't forget to save your login name and password, you will need it after you are admitted to the study.
- If you are an STU student and have access to AIS, enter the system via the 3rd option, i.e.
Enter the e-application system as an AIS user.
- Enter the system via the 2nd option, i.e.
Enter the e-application system as an e-application user only if you know your login name and password to enter the e-application registration environment.
After successful login
- Choose your faculty – FIIT
- Choose the type of study bachelorand click on Select study type
FIIT offers only one program for Bachelor's degree: B-INFO Informatics.
If you have selected a program, click on the thick arrow next to the selected program.
You will see two sections – Personal data and Applicant addresses. Enter each via the thick arrow and fill in all the required information. If all the details are not filled in, the Completeness status of the section is highlighted in red.
Personal data section section
- Fill in your personal data.
Also provide your mobile phone number, although this is not required. Make sure it is in the correct form – e.g.: +421903555222.
- In the Secondary school section, we mean the school that you have already graduated from or will have graduated from in the year of expected admission. Also indicate the field of secondary school and the year of graduation; this information is mandatory.
- Filling in other data is also compulsory.
If you are studying, in the section from where you are applying, select secondary school or university and the highest level of education you have attained (that you have already attained or will have attained in the year of expected admission).
Do not forget to save the data you have entered!
If you have the completeness status of the personal data section marked in green, enter the Applicant Addresses section.
Section Addresses of the applicant
- If you select the state of the Slovak Republic, after entering the street, number and zip code, click on Choose the City. The city will be automatically added. Filling in the contact address is only mandatory if you have a contact address other than the address of your permanent address.
Do not forget to save the entered data!
The completeness status of the Applicant Addresses section must be marked in green only then you have all the required data filled in.
The Part of the E-application in progress
In the section Processed e-applications - Application details you can select an alternative type of study program. However, you do not select an alternative program it is possible to choose an alternative type of study program.
The Part Paid
In the Paid section see the details required to pay the administrative admission fee and pay the amount. Once the fee has been paid, the Status in the Paid section will change to green, but only after it has been checked by the faculty, which may take several days.
If you have the Completeness Status, of the applicant Address and Personal Information Section marked in green, you may proceed with the Application Submission. In the E-Applications in Progress section, in the row for the application you wish to submit, click the "P" in the blue circle. You will still need to confirm the submission of the application by clicking on Mandatory submit e-application.
You can submit an e-applicationeven if you have not yet confirmed payment (Status in the section Paid does not turn green), but the study department will only start processing your application after you have paid it.
Before you can submit your application in a binding manner check properly that you have entered your first and last name correctly. Only married women fill in their surname (in this case, you must also attach proof of change of surname to the certificates), boys and unmarried girls leave this field blank. You must also use Diacritics (softie and extension) when entering your name and address.
Inserting the necessary documents
You can start uploading the necessary documents at any time. You don't have to wait to have your address or personal details completely filled in.
All formats are accepted, for example: pdf, jpg, png, docx.
The document you must submit is a confirmation of payment of the fee for the material support for the admission procedure if payment is made by check.
For applicants who have not graduated from a Slovak or Czech secondary school, proof of knowledge of the Slovak language is also a compulsory document.
Optional documents are certified copies of placements in various professional competitions.
Confirmation of payment of the fee for the material support of the admission procedure
insert a scanned or photographed check or bank statement of payment.
If you pay the fee by bank transfer, observing the variable symbol from the application form, the payment will be automatically matched(usually within a week at the latest) to the application and you will not have to insert the document at all (the status of the insertion of this document will be automatically marked in green).
Diploma from a professional competition or certificate of successful solver
Insert here all scanned or photographed placements in the various professional competitions if you want to get bonus points.
Proof of Slovak language proficiency/certificate
Applicants who have graduated or are about to graduate from a Slovak or Czech secondary school should not upload this document.
The document that you must send by post is a proof of completion of the previous level of studies (matriculation certificate, etc.). Send a certified copy of the document to the faculty address. Applicants who have graduated before the current year of admission will send a certified copy of their matriculation certificate immediately as they have submitted their application.
View the points obtained in the admission procedure and the admissions committee's proposal
he faculty takes into account the best result from the external part of the mathematics matriculation exam (EM), the mathematics admission test (there will be two tests and they will be held in person at FIIT - the dates will be announced in due time), as well as the results of various professional competitions.
The scores for the EM or the admission test, as well as for the competitions, will be entered into the online application system sequentially, as the respective certified confirmations of results are received by the Faculty. Only one result will be considered from the results for EM and the entrance test, namely the one with the higher point value.
You will see the points awarded if you click on https://is.stuba.sk, and then on Admission Test Result and enter you identification (birth) number.
Admissions Committee proposal
The admission committee's proposal for admission is displayed in the same section where the points obtained are listed, under Decision (not entered/accepted/not accepted). However, we can only send you a final written decision once we have received a certified copy of your school leaving certificate (verification by your school is sufficient).
