FIIT STU offers study in the field of study in informatics and information technology in accredited study programs in all three levels of study:
- Bachelor
- Master (Engineer)
- Doctoral
The Bachelor degree study program as the study program of the first level is aimed at acquisition of the theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge based on the current state of science and art, and at mastering their use in execution of a profession or in the follow-up higher education study. The graduates of the Bachelor degree study program receive higher education of the first level.
The Master (Engineer) degree study program as the study program of the second level is aimed at acquisition of the theoretical and practical knowledge based on the current state of science and art, and at development of ability of their creative application in execution of a profession or continuation of the higher education study within the framework of Doctoral degree study program. The graduates of the Master (Engineer) degree study program receive higher education of the second level.
The Doctoral degree study program as the study program of the third level is aimed at acquisition of knowledge based on current scientific and artistic knowledge and particularly at the particularly at the student´s own contribution to it as a result of a scientific research and independent creative activity in the field of science or technology or an independent theoretical and creative activity in the fields of art. The graduates of the Doctoral degree study program receive higher education of the third level.
Accredited FIIT study programs take into account the current state and development of IIT in the domestic and international context. They are also a response to the requirements of practice, which are reflected in the interest in our graduates and their recommendations for adjusting the form and content of studies. The interest in "entry" and "exit" also testifies to the topicality of IIT study programs.
