Conditions are adapted by Section 96 of the Higher Education Act. The claim arises from the month in which the application was submitted. The scholarship can’t be paid retroactively.

Up to 50% of students of eligible study fields are awarded. Previous year's study results are considered:

• In the first year of undergraduate study – according to the number of points earned in the admission procedure
• In the first year of graduate study – results of the entire B.Sc. study
• In the first year of postgraduate study–results of the entire M.Sc. study
• Others – Weighted study average of the previous academic year and scientific / publishing quality of the PhD students (study may not be prolonged or interrupted for more than 30 days)

The basic amount of this scholarship (ZVMO) is determined according to the methodology given by the law and it is published on the university website.
The amount of scholarship must not exceed 3 times the ZVMO.

By a single application.
In the months of June and August of the academic year

Motivation scholarships depending on study result

Up to 10% of eligible students are awarded. (It holds for scholarships based on study results and for scholarship based on exceptional results together).

The study results from the previous academic year are taken into account: Undergraduate and graduate study with minimum requirements being met:

• Successful completion (grades A - E) of all subjects in the recommended study plan,
• Resulting weighted average study result up to 2.2

This does not apply students in the first year of undergraduate or graduate study.

Postgraduate study: scientific / publishing quality with minimum requirements being met:

• Successful completion of all subjects in the study plan.

All students: the study may not be prolonged or interrupted for more than 30 days.

The amount of scholarship must not exceed:
Undergraduate and graduate study:

• 3 times the ZVMO, if the resulting Weighted average study result belongs to interval <1.0; 1.3>,
• 1.5 times the ZVMO in other cases.

Postgraduate study: 3 times the ZVMO.

By a single application.
Not later than the end of the first term of the academic year.

The following exceptional results are taken into account:

Exceptional scholarships-other reasons

They may be granted from faculty own resources and may be provided ad hoc as an exceptional scholarship:

• for excellent fulfilment of study duties throughout the study,
• for excellent Master and Bachelor Thesis,
• to support studies within a student's mobility outside the university,
• to support foreign student,
• to support top athletes,
• for a major activity held in favour of the STU,
• others.

The amount of scholarship must not exceed 2 times the ZVMS.

Not later than the end of the year in which the academic year finishes when the matter of fact occurred.
