An applicant who will be submitting the Clause must also verify their secondary school leaving certificate through the Register of Educational Documents, which can be found at https://info.edbo.gov.ua/edu-documents/. They must generate an extract from the register with confirmation from the CEP (КЕП - кваліфікованим електронним підписом) and get it sent to their email address, and then upload it until 31 July 2025 to the electronic application in the designated section: Document certifying graduation from a previous level of study (Maturita certificate, etc.). Without this confirmation, the Clause is invalid.
Instructions on authenticating education documents for applicants from Ukraine
The documents attached to the application form are not returned to the applicants and remain part of the applicant's documents.
1Pursuant to Section 39a of Act No. 422/2015 Coll. on the recognition of documents, it is possible to deliver a "Clause on the recognition of a foreign education degree" instead of nostrification.
The clause pursuant to paragraph 2 shall be deemed to be a decision on the recognition of a document of education pursuant to Section 39(9) for the purpose of continuing studies or for the purpose of assessing the degree of education attained pursuant to Section 60, if it is accompanied by the document of education to which the clause is issued.
Applicants or graduates of secondary and university institutions abroad can generate the endorsement via: Recognition clause > Recognition clause > Entering the country where the education document was issued. All available secondary and university degrees that exist in that country will then be displayed.

Tuition fees and fees associated with the studies are determined by the Rector's Directive valid for the relevant academic year, published on the STU website.
Conditions of admission to bachelor´s studies
The basic condition for admission to the bachelor studies is the acquisition of a complete secondary education or a complete secondary vocational education (Section 56(1) of the Act).
The faculty accepts applicants for the 3-year study program who successfully pass the entrance exam and interview.
The admission is decided by the admissions committee in accordance with the Further conditions of admission to bachelor studies at FIIT STU .
Admission procedure
The admission procedure begins with the submission of an application for the relevant bachelor's degree program.
The results of the applicants will be evaluated by the Admissions Committee.
The results of the admission procedure will be published in the Academic Information System (AIS) at the latest one week after the decision of the admissions committee.
The decision on whether or not to accept the applicant, together with the reasons, will be delivered to the applicant in writing to the contact address provided in the application form.
The admission procedure will be closed for the applicant with the issue of the admission decision.
Evaluation of the admission procedure
Applicants are admitted on the basis of the entrance exam and interview.
The faculty guarantees admission to applicants who will meet the admission requirements.
The selectiom of applicants will based on:
- a ranking compiled on the basis of scores,
- demonstration of skills and prerequisites for studying the chosen program of study,
- the number of applicants that the faculty plans to admit to study the relevant program of study.
Entrance exam
The entrance exam will consist of an online mathematics test and an interview.
Both parts of the entrance exam are mandatory.
