Administrative structure of the faculty comes out from activities practised to the intent of mission and in Act No. 131/2002 of Law Code on Higher Education.

Administrative units are created in accordance with mission of FIIT with needs of required activities assurance and efficiency of human and material resources of SUT in Bratislava.

Academic Self-Government

The basis of the academic self-government of a faculty is the academic community of the faculty, voting and recalling members of the Academic Senate of the faculty.

According to the Act No. 131 of February 21, 2002 of the University Code and Amendments and Supplements to some Acts and subsequent acts that have amended them, the faculty management is to be formed out of its academic community members. It is composed of lecturers and research workers (representing the employee part of the academic community of the faculty) and of students (representing the student part of the academic community of the faculty).
