Awarded to no more than 50% of students in eligible fields of study.
Academic results from previous studies are taken into account:

• First-year Bachelor's degree students – according to the number of points obtained in the admission procedure
• First-year master´s degree students – the GPA of the entire bachelor´s degree.
• First-year PhD students – the GPA of the entire master´s degree.
• Others – the GPA (for bachelor's and master's students) and research/publication quality (for PhD students) of the previous academic year. (studies may not be extended or interrupted for more than 30 days).

The basic amount of this scholarship (ZVMO) is determined according to the methodology given by the law, it is published on the university website.
The amount of scholarship may not exceed 3 times the ZVMO.

Single payment.
In the months of June-August of the academic year.

Motivation scholarships depending on study result

Awarded to a maximum of 10% of students (applies to merit and exceptional performance combined).

Study results from the previous academic year are taken into account.

Bachelor's and Master's degree: GPA, minimum requirements apply:

• Successful completion (grades A - E) of all courses in the recommended study plan,
• GPA no higher than 2.2, inclusive.

Note: does not apply to freshmen (bachelor's and master's degree).

PhD studies: scientific/publication quality, minimum requirements apply:

• Successful completion of all courses in the study plan.

All: studies must not be extended or interrupted for more than 30 days.

The basic amount of this scholarship (ZVMS) is determined according to the methodology given by the law, and is published on the university website.

The amount of scholarship may not exceed:
bachelor's and master's degrees:

• 3 times the ZVMS, if the GPA is <1.0; 1.3>,
• 1.5 times the ZVMS for others.

PhD studies: 3 times the ZVMS.

Single payment.
No later than the end of the first semester of the academic year.

Awarded to a maximum of 10% of students (applies to merit and exceptional performance combined).

Extraordinary results are taken into account:
- Exceptional performance of study obligations,
- exceptional performance in research or development,
- an exceptional result in artistic or sporting activities.

The basic amount of this scholarship (ZVMS) is determined according to the statutory methodology and is published on the university's website. The amount of the scholarship may not exceed 1 times the ZVMS.
It may also be awarded to a collective of students.

Single payment.
No later than the end of the calendar year in which the academic year in which the event occurred ends.

May be awarded from own resources and may be awarded on an ad hoc basis, as an exceptional scholarship:

• For outstanding performance of academic duties throughout the course of study,
• for an outstanding final thesis,
• to support the student's study in the context of non-university mobility,
• to support international studenst,
• to support top athletes,
• for significant activities for the benefit of STU,
• others.

The amount of scholarship maynot exceed 2 times the ZVMS.

Single or repeated.
No later than the end of the calendar year in which the academic year in which the fact occurred ends.
